The original volume, that this web site is based upon, was compiled and published by Lewis Edward Fite and Arra Burton and Mabel Harper Fite. My personal THANKS goes out to these three relatives as well as all my other relatives who participated in the response of the original mailing requesting the statistics and data that made all this possible. The pictures remain the property of those who furnished them and are included with the permission from the original donors. There was no copyright on the original material that I used to form this web site and I am not going to "copyright" any of the information contained here-in. I share it freely and encourage you to do the same. I also encourage you to check-out my source code and if it inspires you to do something of your own I offer it up freely as well. I did not invent cascading style but I have gotten reasonably skilled at using it.

I have used different coding to call all of my images from my server. I have done this so that people cannot link directly to my images. I would love to host my images for everyone to use on their personal web sites but the bandwidth volume would be extremely huge. When someone links to my images it slows down my server and that would not be fair / nice. I run software from my server which allows me to find out if someone is linking to my images and I have found people who have. I used to change the name of the image but then they would just read my source code and change their code accordingly. You can appropriate any of my images but I will not host them for you. If you find a family related image that you would like to have, for your own web site, let me know and I will send you detailed instructions on how to pick it up and keep it for yourself, if you don't know how already.
